DM Drums are proud to present DREAM CYMBALS. Hand made in Wuhan, China.

Dream Cymbals are manufactured by hand in the great Wuhan Region of China. The factory was established in 1984 by Mr Wong, who specialised in manufacturing Chinese gongs and lion cymbals.

In 2005 development of the Dream cymbal line began.
A completely hand hammered and shaped cymbal - no rollers are used, just hammers and the human hand using the same techniques that Chinese cymbal makers have used for over 1900 years.

Critically acclaimed Dream cymbals are the result of an ancient family tradition of Chinese cymbal and gong artistry.

The Contact series, known for a brighter stick presence and livelier response is also completely hand hammered and shaped. These are B23 alloy and also feature a slightly deeper profile and larger relative bells. The stick feel is very lively, the pitch higher but still rich and warm. The Contact series are medium thin cymbals with that trademark ease of speaking. Like all Dream cymbals they speak very easy, you don’t have to work hard on getting a sound. You can just spend time on what you want to say.
Faster and higher energy, these plates also have depth and complexity in the undertone, a shimmering wash that drives the sound forward and up.

Bliss Cymbals are the flagship line from Dream. Bliss are vintage style cymbals with a personality all their own. Offered in even sizes they are totally hand hammered, microlathed plates with a low bridge, small but clear bells and are quite thin. They are exceptionally resilient and slightly soft on the stick. The undertones are warm and rich, an edge of dragon’s breath, but never overpower the stick sound. The separation between stick and overtones is clear and the pitch range is low and dark. These cymbals are exceptionally versatile and are suitable for all musical applications.
